DPS- DPS bagged 3rd Prize in National Group Song Competition


NEW DELHI. National Group Song Competition- 2018, an initiative of Bharat Vikas Parishad, held in Hyderabad on 02nd December, 2018. Such programmes are organized every year by Bharat Vikas Parishad to develop feelings of patriotism amongst the students through patriotic songs. “Bharat Ko Jano” is another quiz programme organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad for the school children to increase their awareness about the distinctive features of our country and culture.
Bharat Vikas Parishad is dedicated to the development and growth of Bharat in all fields of human endeavour by promoting a sense of patriotism, national unity and integrity. Patriotism teaches us to love our country and embrace the whole humanity.
After qualifying the District and State Level, DPS Ranchi marched ahead and bagged the Third Prize in National Level Group Song Competition organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad held on 2nd December 2018 at Hyderabad . The students who brought this laurel to school as well as state are Anushka Panda, Sakshi Singh, Duhita, Shambhavi Rani, Nashita Imam, Sumit Dutta Shourya Kumar, Soham Mandal. DPS Ranchi from Jharkhand was preceded by teams from Amritsar, Punjab and Bhilwada, Rajasthan respectively.
Dr. Ram Singh, Principal DPS Ranchi, expressed his happiness over this momentous victory of the students. He admired the efforts of government for organizing such programmes which are instrumental in exploring the artistic talents among the students. He encouraged the students to take part in such programmes for the holistic development of their personalities.
