Delhi Public School Organized a Grand Felicitation Ceremony for the Scholars
RANCHI. In a Grand Felicitation Ceremony held at Vivekananda Auditorium on 8th January '2021 the meritorious students were felicitated for scoring 90 percent and above in all the subjects with Scholar Badges, Scholar Blazers and Scholar Ties. These students were awarded for excelling in academics for two, three and four consecutive years. In total 72 students from Classes III- V were recognized for their outstanding academic performance. All the Scholar Blazer and Scholar Tie Awardees recorded their physical presence in the Ceremony and were praised by the Chief Guest whereas all the other Scholars were conferred the honours virtually on the Zoom Platform.
The Ceremony witnessed the presence of Honourable Chief Guest, Mrs. Pooja Singhal, IAS, Secretary Tourism, Art & Cultural, Sports & Youth Affairs, Ranchi, Jharkhand. The Chief Guest motivated and encouraged the young scholars with her words of wisdom. She remarked that hard work, perseverance and dedication are the stepping stones for success, achievement and a bright future.
Dr. Ram Singh, Principal, DPS Ranchi expressed his pleasure and asserted that the role of educational institutions has become more challenging in this time of pandemic and our school bellied upon itself the onerous task of encouraging and empowering the students to excel at academics.
The Ceremony concluded with the vote of thanks and a group photograph of the Scholars with the distinguished guest.(UPDATED ON JANUARY 9TH, 2021)
