DPS student received 2nd Prize
RANCHI- National Level Poster and Slogan contest was conducted as a part of National Safety Science Campaign (NSSC)-2018. The competition was among the students of classes V – VIII .

The topic given to the students was ‘Safer Public Bus Transportation in India’. In this around 35 thousand students from all round the country from different schools participated. The best 20 posters were displayed for Public voting at the Venus of the Quiz Zonal rounds in Pune, Bangalore, New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Jaipur, Hyederabad, Lucknow, Bhubaneshwar and Ahmedabad.

On the basis of Public voting DPS Ranchi student Ritiraj of class VIII received 2nd prize certificate, a trophy and a cheque of Rs. 20,000.

Ritiraj with his creative skills drew a beautiful painting to explain people how to remain safe and maintain safety in public areas and public buses. According to Ritiraj human life is very precious so we should not break traffic rules and put lives in danger, keeping this in mind he gave the slogan as : “It is better to loose one minute in life rather than loosing life in one minute”.
The honourable Principal of school, Dr. Ram Singh congratulated Ritiraj on his success and wished him for his bright future.(updated on january 30th 2019)
