Essay writing competition on Guru Tegh Bahadur ji



NEW DELHI. National Book Trust, India (NBT) has organized a Pan-India essay writing competition for students on the occasion of Prakash Parv which marks the 400th birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji.



NBT is inviting students from schools, colleges and educational institutions to write 500-700 word essays on any one of the following topics: “Teachings from the Life of Guru Tegh Bahadurji”, “What I have learnt from his Life and his Teachings”, or “Relevance of Guru Tegh Bahadur’s Teachings in the Current Times”.


The essay may be written in English or any Indian language and submitted by 20 April, 2021. Best 3 entries from each institution shall be awarded. More details can be found on www.nbtindia.gov.in and NBT’s social media pages.
