An educationist
An educationist spreading Yoga message between masses

AMRITSAR. Hundreds of local residents today took part in International Yoga Day programme under the guidance of Dr. Aanchal Arora who is an educationist and also spreading the YOGA message between the masses.

Ms. Aanchal Arora, Assistant Professor in Khalsa College is expert in doing 20 plus aasanas and 8 pranayaam.. she also makes kids, women and men learn aerobics, sunna, power yoga and Pilates. She herself is following yoga, pranayaam and various exercises.

During a conversation she said that the the art of practicing yoga helps in controlling an individual’s mind, body and soul. It brings together physical and mental disciplines to achieve a peaceful body and mind; it helps manage stress and anxiety and keeps you relaxing. It also helps in increasing flexibility, muscle strength and body tone. It improves respiration, energy and vitality. Practicing yoga might seem like just stretching, but it can do much more for your body from the way you feel, look and move, she added.

She said that since last 16 years hundreds of residents of Tilak Nagar, krishna Square, Sunder Nagar, Sawan Nagar and Pawan Nagar are participating in her yoga classes., free of cost. On the importance of YOGA Ms. Aanchal said that Yoga asanas build strength, flexibility and confidence. Regular practice of yoga can help lose weight, relieve stress, improve immunity and maintain a healthier lifestyle..(UPDATED ON JUNE 21ST, 2019)
